Apprentice Electricians
We are committed to developing the next generation of skilled electricians. Our apprenticeship programme combines hands-on experience with industry-leading training, working alongside Master Electricians on diverse projects throughout the region.
Qualified Electricians
We're seeking EWRB-registered electricians with current practising licences to join our experienced team. Ideal candidates will have experience in residential and commercial electrical installations, with opportunities to specialise in areas including heat pump installations, electrical inspections, and power line protection services.
Registered Electrician
Qualified electrical inspectors with compliance certification experience are encouraged to apply. You'll conduct pre-purchase inspections, insurance reports, and commercial compliance certificates while representing A1 Electrical's reputation for thorough, professional service.

Essential Requirements
Qualifications and Licensing
Current EWRB practising licence
Relevant electrical qualifications (Level 4 minimum for qualified roles)
Clean driving licence with reliable transport
Physical fitness for electrical installation work
Experience and Skills
Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
Understanding of AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules and New Zealand electrical standards
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
Commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship
