Nicky Hendrikx

Nicky is a fully qualified electrical contractor with a background in heat pump installation and servicing. Nicky hails from Belgium where he became a qualified Engineer before emigrating to New Zealand.

He enjoys working at A1, saying that the small team makes for an environment where he can have a laugh, but at the same time, be surrounded by an incredibly supportive team. Nicky enjoys the teaching aspect of his role at A1, sharing his variety of skills with a can-do attitude, his competitive side is also well catered for with the sporty social clubs the team are involved in. 

Nicky loves to problem solve on all his jobs, he enjoys the variety A1 provide and having the ability to make decisions to get the job completed as efficiently as possible, with the best outcome for the client.

Outside of work, Nicky used to enjoy hiking and mountain climbing, these day’s however, you are more likely to find Nicky restoring his old home back to her former glory and hanging out with his young family.
